We understand your concerns, so we have devised a plan in preparing our business for you! The safety of our staff and our customers is essential to us, so we have outlined our EMPIRE RE-OPEN PLAN PHASE Il. Please note that although we will follow all CDC, Federal, State and Local guidlines and do everything possible to maintain a clean and healthy environment we cannot guarentee or be held responsible for transmission of this virus.

Here is some of the modifications made… Starting with COVID-19 CERTIFICATION

 

  • MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE BARBER SHOP. (Even if you have been fully vaccinated.)

  • We have Cleaned and disinfected all surfaces and implements.

  • We will NOT REUSE any combs ,brushes, razor handles, clips more than once per day. Meaning we will have enough implements to serve each client daily without having to sanitize these items between clients.

  • We will allow time between clients to properly sanitize and disinfect stations, tools, implements, and chairs.

  • (ACCORDING TO APPROVED MANUFACTURER GUIDELINES.)

  • We have Rearranged the layout and spacing of chairs to practice safe social distancing between clients and have installed partitions. 

  • We have Laundered and/or disinfected all capes, towels and linens and will change/use new cape for each client.

  • We have Removed any non-essential items throughout our business

  • We have Initiated contactless methods of scheduling and payment via (EMPIRE APP, apple and google pay)

  • We will continue operating by APPOINTMENT however WALK-INS ARE NOW WELCOME.

  • We ask that no groups gather in shop. Please be advised that families will have to wait outside if not being served.

  • WALK-IN service HAS RESUMED however waiting must be done outside the premises or in vehicles until notified via our app.

  • Temperature will be taken on clients before entering the barber shop.

  • Questions may be asked before entering, Do you have a cough or fever? Have you or anyone in your household been exposed to Covid-19? Have you displayed any symptoms within the last 14 days?

  • You will have to sign a waiver and release of liability before entering the shop to confirm and protect our business, your barber, and the public.

  • Although we will do everything to follow and maintain protocol according to CDC, State and local guidlines We cannot control infection of COVID-19. 

  • Our staff have Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment to be used such as masks, face shield and gloves. 

  • We have Discontinued the practice of hand shaking and other non-essential contact

  • We have Re-trained our Staff/Contractors on essential infection control and hand hygiene practices. BARBICIDE CERTIFICATION

  • We have Removed waiting areas and have temporarily banned any waiting or gathering within the Barber shop

  • We have Removed coffee bar, self serve beverage and the distribution of any snacks and open/closed beverage containers, cans, bottles.

  • We have reduced hours of operation to accommodate clean up times and client appointment spacing.

  • We have resumed (Shaves, Facial Hair, Massage, Shampoo) services Empire Phase II.

  • (Shampoo service has commenced Empire Open Plan Phase II)

  • We have condensed service selections for ease of booking

  • We are Offering multiple service booking packages in hopes of creating value and savings for clients.
